Financial Assistance from Malaysian Telugu Community

Five years ago TAM envisaged on a vision to establish TSN, a glorious and ambitious project which shall be the center of our telugu culture and heritage in Malaysia. Thus vision and dream will not only benefit our present community but generations to come. Thus TSN was officially sanctioned by the BGM of TAM in 1996 and the curthe ains of that dream were drawn open. A suitable piece of land was purchased nearby to Kuala Lumpur, The capital city of Malaysia. The Gruha Pravesam was grandly held on 20th August 2000 officiated kindly by Tan Sri Datuk Dr.K.R. Somasundram in the presence of well over 500 TAM members, friends and well wishers.

The Telugu Saamskruthika Nilayam when completed will house the TAM head-quarters, a multi-purpose hall center for cultural and social functions and wedding functions, seminar rooms to facilitate conference, meetings and workshop sessions, a sports complex to provide for games, health and fitness facilities, a resource center customised for the economic, commercial and business needs of our community, an exhibition hall cum library/museam to preserve and promote the educational, intellectual and cultural heritage of the Telugus, amenities for the training lady members in homecraftcs, adult education for the older members and skills training for the youth, hostel and studio apartments to house students, outstation members and visiting guests of TAM. The complex will also include ample car park space and beautiful landscaping. The TSN will be the center tp propagate our rich Telugu cultural heritage in South East Asia and infact shall be one of the largest such center in this region.

Many of our TAM members and well wishers had generously contributed and pledged towards this worthy cause. However the accelerating costs from our initial estimates has prompted us to turn to our fellow Telugu community from Malaysia to not only achieve but share inour dreams for the preservation of our great culture and heritage forever. |

We humbly appeal for your kind and generous contribution towards TAM, SAAMSKRUTHIKA NILAYAM. Each and every contribution, no matter how big or small will be gratefully welcomed.
We anticipate TSN to open it's doors on 1st January 2003. Your kind generosity will help us to make that vision and dream a reality and your assistance will not only benefits the Telugu community in South East Asia but perhaps from over the world.
